Scott Rudolph “Rudy” - Sirious Baseball Coach

Scott Rudolph is a San Jose native that grew up in the Almaden valley, where he played on Pioneer High School’s varsity baseball team for 4 years. After much success, Scott continued his baseball career as a pitcher at West Valley College, where he closed out the back end of their bullpen for two seasons. Scott led Northern California in pitching appearances in 2010. He then accepted a full baseball scholarship, and became a pivotal part of William Penn University’s starting rotation.

Scott played out in Oskaloosa Iowa for 1 season before returning home to San Jose and completing his undergraduate studies at San Jose State University, where he majored in Communication Studies. Upon his return to the Bay Area and the end to his playing career, Scott became the assistant head coach of Harker’s varsity baseball team. Scott coached at Harker for 2 seasons, before accepting the head Junior Varsity coaching job at Pioneer high school, where he coached their baseball team for 3 seasons. Coach Rudolph was part of a coaching staff that led Pioneer to their first CCS championship game in the past 25 years, and built a solid rapport with the coaches, players, parents, and umpires within the competitive Mt. Hamilton division.
