Arman Sabouri

Arman Sabouri was born and raised in the South Bay.  He started playing baseball at the age of 6yrs old and played for Branham Little League. 

Arman attended Branham High School where he played four very successful seasons on the Varsity Baseball team.  Some of his high school accomplishments include:

  • Male scholar-athlete award

  • 2014- Mt. Hamilton sophomore of the year honors. Helped Branham win the 2014 Central Coast Section Division II championship by going 8-2 with a 1.60 ERA and 80 strikeouts

  • 2015- Mt. Hamilton MVP, first team all-SJ Mercury News, MaxPreps Underclass All-American, MaxPreps first team All-State and Team MVP.  Went 15-1 with a 0.921 ERA and 126 strikeouts

  • 2016- Rawlings/Perfect Game All-America honorable mention, California region honorable mention, second team All-SJ Mercury News and Team MVP. Went 10-4 with a 0.91 ERA and 122 strikeouts in 84.2 innings as a senior

Following high school Arman attended the University of California, Berkeley.  Playing for the Cal Bears, Arman established himself as a dominant and versatile left handed pitcher, both as a starter and reliever.  He earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors and in his junior year ranked sixth in Pac-12 with 11.08 strikeouts per nine innings.  Arman played three seasons with Cal, accumulating some impressive stats before being drafted into the MLB following his junior year.

Arman was selected in the 12th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.  He just finished his first professional season pitching for the Brewers Rookie-Advanced affiliate Rocky Mountain Vibes based out of Colorado Springs, CO. He compiled a 4.62 ERA in 37.0 IP out of the bullpen (1 start) with 37 strikeouts and 7 walks. Arman earned his first professional save in his professional debut closing out a game against the Grand Junction Rockies.

Currently Arman Sabouri is living in San Jose during the offseason where he is training, coaching travel ball, and giving private lessons at Sirious Baseball.
